Eastwood
Identity & menu design for bar and eatery on the Lower East Side in New York City. Says The New York Times: “tattooed tastemakers, longtime neighbors and young families mingle in this cross between a Scottish pub and a Tel Aviv cafe.” Eastwood is a true neighborhood bar, offering a solid cocktail menu, craft beers (and kombucha) on tap, a vinyl record library, and a selection of elevated pub fare — including their famous Israeli Scotch Egg. Like the bar itself, the branding is low-key and unfussy, with Glasgow School-inspired typography and mismatched signage. The only thing that’s challenging about Eastwood is finding the door.
